The Common Vision and Values was finalized during Workshop # 2, March 14, 2009, and signed off by the participants in attendance.

The FINAL draft Mission Statement below was developed during Workshop # 2 and finalized during Workshop # 3, March 26, 2009. 

This Mission Statement was brought forward during Workshop # 1, February 2, 2010 for sign off during Phase III (2009-2010). During the workshop, general participant consensus was reached to provide this version to the new governance body to finalize at the time of implementation (Phase IV).

Our Mission is:
To restore and improve the health of the Coquitlam River watershed by creating and supporting a community that recognizes and promotes [the watershed] through:

• Coordination 
• Collaboration, and,
• Education
