The FINAL draft Mission Statement below was developed during Workshop # 2 and finalized during Workshop # 3, March 26, 2009.
This Mission Statement was brought forward during Workshop # 1, February 2, 2010 for sign off during Phase III (2009-2010). During the workshop, general participant consensus was reached to provide this version to the new governance body to finalize at the time of implementation (Phase IV).
Mission Statement
Our Mission is:
To restore and improve the health of the Coquitlam River watershed by creating and supporting a community that recognizes and promotes [the watershed] through:
- Communication
- Coordination
- Collaboration, and,
- Education
