The City of Coquitlam and Kwikwetlem First Nation, in collaboration with its watershed partners, are committed to bring together stakeholders from different sectors in forums to address resource use and conservancy for the Coquitlam River watershed. Formed during 2007, the Coquitlam River Watershed Strategy follows the Fraser Salmon and Watersheds Program's governance objective, which fosters watershed-focused, collaborative governance approaches at the watershed scale.
