Phase II involved a community engagement and visioning process with watershed stakeholders. The mandate of Phase II was to bring together the multi-faceted group of stakeholders in the Coquitlam River watershed to engage in a series of community workshops to establish a Common Vision for the Coquitlam River and to develop guiding principles to support desicion-making.
The Phase II project is documented in the Reports and Documents, that provides the details gathered from the process. A participant survey was completed to determine how engaged the participants felt, and how committed tehy were to the agreed-to Common Vision/Mission Statement and guiding principles developed. Survey respondants also indicated a high degree of statisfaction with the Phase II process, and a strong commitment to move forward to developing a governance framework for the Coquitlam River Watershed. This new website was also developed to improve information sharing and dialogue about the watershed with other stakeholders.
