DESCRIPTION:Event Info: \nInvasive plant species ‘pull’\, co-hosted with the Maple Creek Streamkeepers \nWe’ll focus on two sites\, both of which lie adjacent to the creek. (If heavy rains are in the forecast\, we will notify to re-schedule to ensure safe conditions.) \nWhen: 9:45 AM – 1:00 PM\, Sun\, Nov. 18th \nWhere: Meet end of Bedford St & Riverbend Dr\, Port Coquitlam \nWhat to Wear: Outdoor/gardening clothes that can get dirty\, sturdy boots and rain gear (hat\, etc. just in case) \nWhat to Bring: Durable (water) bottle\, work gloves (if you have)\, extra snacks\, your smile and positive energy! \nWe will supply snacks\, tools\, gloves and tarps. Our target species will be Himalayan blackberry (Thurs) and English ivy (Sun.).
