BC Wildlife Federation proudly presents Map our Marshes, a free public workshop Saturday February 23rd, 2012 at the Burnaby Lake Nature House (9:00 am to 3:30 pm). Hosted by the Burnaby Lake Park Association.

Wetlands filter water, control floods and provide habitat to hundreds of wildlife species. Unfortunately, wetlands are disappearing at an alarming rate and need our protection. Come join the BC Wildlife Federation for a free workshop to learn about different types of wetlands and how to map and protect them using GPS receivers and BC’s Community Mapping Network.
