Rain Garden Watering Volunteers Needed (Final Season!)

Help support the Roundtable’s Demonstration Rain Garden in Lions Park in Port Coquitlam!

With a hot summer expected, our rain garden will need a little extra care — and we’re looking for volunteers to help with watering.

This is a special year: it’s expected to be the final season volunteer watering will be needed, as the young plants become fully established. No experience needed — just a willingness to lend a hand and support a thriving green space.

We are seeking volunteers to water throughout June to September. This work is independent and takes about 1.5 hours to complete.

From Spring to Fall, the Roundtable leads events for groups and individuals to participate in invasive species “pulls” and native plantings, as well as litter clean-ups. If you would like to come out and give a hand, please contact us to hear our coming plans and schedule!
